In Kyiv, a rare Rover SD1 from 1982 was spotted. There are only a few such cars in Ukraine.

The Rover SD1 was a flagship model of the British brand in the 80s. It was one of the first premium hatchback models. By the way, its design was developed by Charles Spencer King – the author of the first Range Rover.

Since the Rover SD1 was positioned as a premium car, its interior was decorated with velvet and wood, and the features included central locking, air conditioning, and power windows.

Interestingly, the hatchback has rear-wheel drive. Furthermore, this car is equipped with a 3.5-liter 157-horsepower V8 engine from the Range Rover. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds, with a maximum speed of 203 km/h.
