Rare $1 Million Ford GT Heritage Edition Spotted in Kyiv (Photo)

A true automotive legend has been spotted on the capital’s roads – an exclusive 2006 Ford GT in the Heritage Edition version. Photos of the unique supercar were published by the authors of the luxurycars.ukraine page on Instagram, reports Focus.

This coupe is not just a sports car, but a symbol of the revival of the legendary 1960s Ford GT40, which triumphed four times in a row at the 24 Hours of Le Mans races. It is this history that formed the basis of the film “Ford v Ferrari” with Matt Damon and Christian Bale.

The Ford GT Heritage Edition belongs to a limited series – only 343 units were produced. Under the hood, a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine with 550 horsepower allows the car to accelerate to 100 km/h in less than four seconds. The top speed reaches about 330 km/h.

The special Gulf Racing livery is not just a style, but a tribute to Ford’s historic victories over Ferrari in the 60s.

According to TopGir information, only two Ford GTs are officially registered in Ukraine, one of which is in the Heritage Edition version. The cost of such a car can reach $1 million, making it one of the most expensive production cars in Ukraine.

Interestingly, a similar (or most likely, this very) Ford GT was seen back in 2021 in Kharkiv.

The Ford GT Heritage Edition is not just a car, but a piece of motorsport history. For collectors, it is of priceless value, and for speed enthusiasts, it is a reminder that legends never disappear.
