Today, November 2, a traffic accident involving a Porsche 911 GTS occurred on Rusanivska Embankment in the capital. The car veered off the road and, after hitting a pole, sustained significant damage – the suspension, front part of the body, and underbody elements were deformed. Judging by the photo, restoration could be extremely expensive, and for insurers, this might look like a ‘total loss’.

There are no official details of the accident yet. At the same time, it is worth considering the weather conditions – the cold night, morning fog, and high humidity could have made the road surface slippery. This is an assumption, but such factors during the transitional seasons often cause accidents, even when driving a modern sports car.
According to preliminary information, no people were injured, which is the most important thing. The car, unfortunately, is seriously damaged.
The Porsche 911 GTS of the 992 generation is one of the most powerful and dynamic versions of the 911 for daily use. It is equipped with a 3.6-liter turbocharged boxer engine and a T-Hybrid hybrid module, produces about 541 hp, and is capable of accelerating from 0–100 km/h in approximately 3 seconds. The maximum speed of such a car reaches about 312 km/h, the transmission is an 8-speed PDK.

The price of a Porsche 911 GTS on the Ukrainian market starts from approximately UAH 8.3–9.8 million depending on the configuration, and individual examples with options can cost over UAH 12 million.
Despite modern safety and stabilization systems, nature and physics remind us of themselves. The autumn road can be treacherous, so it is worth adapting your driving style to the weather conditions and remembering: even hundreds of horsepower under the hood do not guarantee full control.
