by A tow truck with a neo-retro car Morgan Aero SuperSports was spotted on the roads of the capital. This model was released in a limited quantity (200 units worldwide!) in 2009. The unique British car was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Morgan brand, which still produces cars using century-old technologies.
All Morgan cars are unique as such. However, the jubilee Aero SuperSports model is considered especially valuable and is distinguished from others by its reinforced body, a two-section folding top, and a suspension lowered by 40 mm. The engine is from BMW with a power of 367 hp, and the gearbox is a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic.
It is noted that in 2009, SuperSports could be ordered by paying a deposit of 25 thousand pounds sterling. The full cost of the car was at least 127 thousand in British currency (‘resellers’ asked for almost twice as much). However, even with the required amount, one had to wait in line and, in principle, prove to the brand’s management why they were worthy of owning this exclusive vehicle.
By the way, after the full-scale invasion of Russia, a real ‘great migration’ of Morgans began in Ukraine. For instance, on the eve of Christmas, a similar Morgan Aero SuperSports was seen on Stolychne Highway. According to TopGir, the sky-blue Morgan changed its owner but remained in Ukraine. As for the specimen spotted in Kyiv yesterday, it is currently unknown where it was taken. Hopefully, not abroad. But it is known for sure that it was sold for a quarter of a million dollars…

Let us remind you that despite its rarity and high cost, Morgan cars in Ukraine were once considered a ‘must-have’ among politicians and top-tier business people. And this is still the case today.
