The rare Lamborghini SUV has been gathering dust for quite some time now, as its owner is believed to be abroad. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that the Lamborghini LM002 model is a real treasure and a dream for any car collector. Lamborghini LM002 is the first serial SUV of the Lamborghini company. It was first presented to the public at the Brussels Motor Show in 1986. During its production years (from 1986 to 1993), only a total of 328 cars were produced! As TopGear has repeatedly written, there were at least two unique Lamborghini SUVs in Ukraine. One is black, the other is red. The fate of the latter, unfortunately, is unknown. But regarding the black one, it is most likely this car. And when it is, this is not just an exclusive vehicle, but a real find. And here’s why… We won’t claim it with 100% certainty, but it seems that this is the Lamborghini LM004 1984, or LM-Americana – the rarest Lamborghini SUV! The Italian sports car manufacturer ended up in the history of the U.S. Navy almost by accident. The nearly ten-year battle for the Pentagon’s car, which was finally won by Hummer, but Lamborghini created this buffed-up, archaically steroid-injected bull in the process of the battle, named it LM, which stands for Lamborghini Military. One hundred cars were ordered for the Lebanese military, another 40 for the Saudi Arabian armed forces, and a few were sold across the ocean under the code LM 004 or LM-Americana – this version is considered the most exclusive. Under its granulated hood works a monstrous V12 engine with 495 horsepower and a mind-boggling torque that turns at 550 Nm.
