Design and Color Updates
Nissan has introduced the updated three-row Pathfinder SUV for the 2026 model year, which received minor changes to its exterior and technology. While this is not a completely new model, the refresh has added fresh colors, updated bumpers, and satin emblems. For higher trims, black roof rails have been added instead of silver ones, along with new 20-inch wheels for the Platinum version.

Interior and Multimedia Improvements
The Pathfinder’s interior now features an updated instrument panel with a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen that comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for all versions. Embroidered “PATHFINDER” lettering and wood trim have also been added. For comfort, a more powerful 15-watt wireless charging device with a cooling system has been introduced.

Camera System Innovations
The camera system has received significant improvements: the HD Intelligent Around View Monitor now includes a 180-degree front view function and an “Invisible Hood View” mode, which allows the driver to see virtually through the hood. This is useful for maneuvering in tight conditions such as garages or parking lots.
Technical Specifications and Special Versions
The SUV continues to use a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 284 horsepower with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Rock Creek model remains available with enhanced off-road capability, and for the 2026 model year, it has been supplemented with a Premium package that includes a panoramic sunroof and heated steering wheel.
Competition and Prospects
The updated Pathfinder will go on sale in early 2026, but it will have to compete with new generations of competitors such as the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade. Despite the improvements, the model will need additional advantages to increase its market share.
These changes make the Pathfinder more attractive to families looking for a comfortable and technologically equipped SUV. However, the model’s success will depend on how well it can compete against updated rivals that have also received modern features and designs. It is important to note that Nissan continues to emphasize practicality, maintaining high cargo capacity and towing capability.
