As our colleagues from Jalopnik write, the point is that when a MINI driver turns on the left turn signal, it forms an arrow (a kind of styling in the spirit of the British flag) pointing to the right, and vice versa. The MINI press service assured that the turn signals are unlikely to confuse or mislead other drivers. But take a look at this video – it indeed ‘blows your mind’… or does it?

One way or another, everyone stuck to their opinion – MINI defends such an unusual design decision, while critics argue that the turn signal points in the wrong direction, even if it doesn’t create a dangerous situation, it is, at the very least, tasteless.
