A rare high-performance BMW M6 coupe from 1986 was spotted in Rivne. The first-generation model with the E24 index is considered a collector’s item and is rarely seen even in Europe. Photos of the car were published on social media. This was reported by “Focus.ua”.

The high-performance coupe was produced from 1983 to 1989. The total production of the model was 5,855 cars. Of these, 1,767 units were the BMW M6 version for the US market, and another 4,088 cars were sold in Europe as the M635 CSi.

The specific car recorded in Rivne is precisely the American modification. Such cars differ in engine tuning and certain equipment elements.

The main technical highlight of the coupe is the 3.5-liter inline six-cylinder engine, borrowed from the BMW M1 supercar. Depending on the version, it produces 260 or 286 hp.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes from 6.4 to 6.9 seconds, with a top speed reaching 255 km/h. The BMW M6 E24 was equipped exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission, a sports suspension with lowered ground clearance, and reinforced brakes.

Visually, the model is distinguished by a special front bumper, a rear spoiler, and sports seats and steering wheel installed in the interior.
