At the famous retro show in Pebble Beach (USA), the new Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster was showcased. The hypercar is vying for the title of the fastest car in the world.

At the very least, the Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster is the fastest convertible. Like the coupe, it is equipped with a 6.6-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with 1817 hp and is theoretically able to exceed 500 km/h. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 2.6 seconds, and to 400 km/h – 15.5 seconds.

In 2023, these characteristics will be tested in practice. The car will attempt to break the world speed record.

As in the Hennessey Venom F5 coupe, the body is made of carbon, so the car weighs only 1430 kg. The removable roof weighs just 8 kg. Another distinction of the convertible is a glass hood cover that allows you to see the engine.
Only 30 Hennessey Venom F5 Roadsters will be produced. The car costs up to 3 million dollars.
