In the UK, a collection of rare cars has been discovered on the grounds of an abandoned estate, which have been sitting out in the open for years. Among them is a purple Triumph GT6 coupe from the 1970s, which has been well preserved despite long idle. The collection also includes a 1967 Triumph Herald 1200, a Toyota Celica from the 1970s, several models of the Toyota MR2 from the first and second generations, sports cars like the Lotus Elise and Mercedes SLK, notably the SLK55 AMG version with a 5.5-liter V8 engine. In addition, there are two Mitsubishi Pajero SUVs from the 1990s on the premises. Some of the cars have inspection certificates dating from 2014 to 2022, indicating recent use. The reasons for neglecting the collection are currently unknown; it is assumed that the owner may have passed away, and the heirs have not yet taken possession. Recently, in Ukraine, an abandoned hangar filled with decades-old Mercedes cars was discovered and more.
