As it is known, Google has a service called Google Trends. With its help, you can find out trends and the most popular search queries for a certain period of time. TopGir decided to look at the «Auto» topic and see what Ukrainians most often search for in search engines, and we have a rather sad picture.
If a few years ago Ukrainians wishing to buy a car searched by specific brands, models and used queries by regions, like buy a car in Kherson, buy a car in Sumy or buy a car in Dnipro, now the trend is that most Ukrainians are only interested in the problem of how and where to buy cars with European registration plates, as well as customs clearance of cars in Ukraine 2018.
What is even more alarming is that the TOP-5 search queries, which are trending, show impressive growth in popularity – from 650% to superpopularity, measured in thousands of percent.

Speaking about the TOP-25 queries that are currently trending and show constant growth, among them are specific queries for certain sites where the most frequently searched for customs uncleared cars and cars with foreign plates. Namely: RST customs uncleared cars, OLX Poland cars, and Авторіа uncovered cars.
All this suggests that contrary to the popular opinion that Ukrainians have already had enough fun with cars with European registration plates, in fact, more and more people are interested in buying customs uncleared cars. What is also notable is what we call preferential customs clearance, which is in effect until the end of 2018.

What conclusion can be drawn? If you follow Google trends, nothing good awaits the new car market. If there are no changes at the legislative level, sales of new cars will continue to decline endlessly…
