A very unusual pickup is driving around Odessa. At first glance, it resembles a ZIL-157, although its heart is American, reports TSN.
The ZIL hot rod began construction in Bukovina after a ZIL-157 cab was found. Then the creators ran out of money, they sold the pickup to Odessa, and the new owners completed the project. The work dragged on for 5 years.
The ZIL pickup looks very bright – just like classic American hot rods. The steering wheel and instruments have been replaced in the cabin.
The car turned out to be no less fast than the ZIL by Akademik. It was equipped with a 7.5-liter V8 Oldsmobile engine with 500 horsepower and two carburetors. The car quickly starts from the traffic lights and drifts impressively.
