Ukrainians are buying electric cars like hot cakes

The demand for electric cars in Ukraine continues to grow at a rapid pace. According to the association “Ukrautoprom”, in the first quarter of 2019, 1276 electric cars underwent first registration in our country.

For reference: this exceeds the already successful figure of the first quarter of the previous year by a whole 71%. However, 91% of the electric cars (1164 units) are still used.

The most popular electric cars in Ukraine remain the same:

1 Nissan Leaf – 678 cars sold;
2 Tesla Model S – 107;
3 BMW i3 – 87;
4 Renault Zoe – 66;
5 Fiat 500e – 60.
