Ukrainians accomplished an incredible road trip «Africa on Wheels». Slava Kravchuk and Elena Sadoma drove from their native Khmelnytskyi to Cape Town.
The route of the journey from Ukraine to South Africa was laid along the western coast of Africa, and its length was 32,000 km. In five months, Ukrainians visited two dozen African countries, overcoming deserts and jungles.
Sometimes the route was quite dangerous, as in some countries a civil war had only recently ended. Along the way, they also encountered wild animals.
Of course, such a challenging trip requires a very reliable vehicle. The travelers chose the cult Toyota Land Cruiser 70, converted into a motorhome. The diesel consumed 4425 liters of fuel, which means the average consumption was about 13.8 l/100 km. Notably, the car had European plates.
All their adventures were detailed by Slava Kravchuk and Elena Sadoma on Facebook and their YouTube channel, so now the most interesting moments of the journey are available to all those interested.
