Pensioner Vasily Terteka built an electric car with his own hands. The construction of the car cost him only 1300 euros, which is like a new iPhone.
Vasily Terteka wanted a small and cheap car for trips to the apiary, reports DW. The basis of the car is a used electric bike. The car’s creator replaced the electric motor and battery, but the steering wheel, for example, remained the same.
The two-seater Ukrainian electric car reaches 2 meters in length and 1 meter in width. The body is made of polycarbonate, and the front windshield is an old TV screen. The headlights, by the way, are LED. The electric car is capable of reaching 50 km/h, and the battery lasts for 100 km of travel. You can charge the electric car for just 2 hryvnias.
By the way, this is not the first homemade electric car of this kind in Ukraine. Previously, a resident of Chernihiv built a similar car for his son. https://www.facebook.com/dw.ukrainian/videos/2464228427235656/
