Ukrainian Transformed a Minibus into a Track-based All-terrain Vehicle (video)

In Ternopil region, a local craftsman Ihor Rad created a homemade ‘tank’ that can travel where not all tractors can pass. Additionally, the vehicle has a snow plow. As for the technical base, parts and components from completely different cars were used in the construction.

The cabin is from the Polish ‘Zuk’, the engine is from the ‘Moskvich’, and the frame was made from scratch from a profile pipe.

The rear part is from a Volkswagen Scirocco.

Notably, the tracks are homemade, and the craftsman’s grandson made them. The motor is a 1.5-liter engine from a ‘Moskvich-412’ with a power of 75 hp, which is placed between the front seats.

Another curious feature is the absence of a steering wheel; instead, two levers are installed.

Inside – 6 seats, sofas, a small table, and on the ceiling – handrails for passengers to hold onto when off-road. To ensure it was not only spacious but also warm inside, Rad covered it with polystyrene and chipboard and installed an autonomous heater.
