The good old Volkswagen Transporter is associated by many with weed (not the lawn kind), flared pants, flowers, and smiles. Once upon a time, when most of those reading this weren’t even a twinkle in the eye, hippies were akin to today’s Insta-bloggers and TikTokers. No, they didn’t earn millions in stories, but many wanted to emulate them.

In those times (speaking of the late 60s-early 70s), hippies were considered happier than others. Well, at least it was considered so. Now this subculture is long past, but there are those who still want to join it in one way or another. Among them is the owner of this Volkswagen (the hippies revered the Volkswagen T1, also known as VW Bulli), who styled it in such a way that it could be sent back in time right now.

And although the car mixes and matches many styles of different eras, personally we think such projects deserve the right to a happy life. Especially when it comes to theme parties and “true” photoshoots.

By the way, the author of this hippie-mobile is the owner of the “Oberhausen” cafe and a tuning studio in Zaporizhzhia, which specializes in unconventional projects in the spirit of past times.
