by In Ukraine, an interesting project has been realized – a clone of the famous supercar Mercedes CLK GTR Roadster, which costs at least $10 million. The car turned out original and interesting. The copy of the Mercedes CLK GTR was created by the designer Hryhoriy Tobolin from the Ukrainian atelier Proteros, known for its interesting and unconventional works. He was inspired by the works of stylists Koening Specials, Zagato and Strossek. The foundation was taken from the Mercedes CLK430 first-generation cabriolet. The wings were widened and a spoiler in the spirit of the CLK GTR was installed. The doors now open upwards. The interior is covered with expensive leather, and the steering wheel is beveled from the top and bottom. Under the hood, a 4.3-liter V8 is installed – of course, not as powerful as the 612-horsepower V12 of a real Mercedes CLK GTR, but in the stock version, it has 279 hp. The clone of the Mercedes CLK GTR is planned to be put up for sale. The funds raised will go towards a new project, as well as to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as Hryhoriy Tobolin has now taken a stand in defense of Ukraine.
