Ukrainian Puts Hitler’s Car and Other Rare Collectibles Up for Sale (photo) en

Demkura Taras decided to sell his collection of retro cars, which he has been collecting since the 90s. According to the owner of the rare cars, this difficult decision is meant to help bring Victory closer and rebuild Ukraine after the war ends.

As Taras Demkura writes on his Facebook page, he sought out these cars in different cities, towns, various garages, and traffic police databases. One of them is a Maybach from Hitler’s residence, which during World War II was in Vinnytsia. This unique collectible was found in a garage of an elderly man, who during the Nazis’ retreat, had prudently driven it into his garage. His grandchildren nearly cut the car into scrap metal, but ultimately, this vehicle is the calling card of the collection.

Another rarity is a Jaguar car that American President Nixon gave to Leonid Brezhnev.

Additionally, among the lots to be sold is a World War II-era Ural-ZiS truck, as well as an Opel Admiral from 1937, a Vanderer from 1936, a Mercedes Benz from 1937, Lincoln, ZiS, Volga 24, Moskvich 412, and “Humpbacked Zaporozhets.”

“P.S. I have a great desire for the cars to remain in Ukraine as much as possible!”, writes the owner of the collection of rare cars.
