Ukrainian Hachiko did not leave the deceased owner after a traffic accident (video) EN

In Vyshneve (Kyiv region), a dog did not leave its owner when it was hit by a truck. Firstly, it is a great pity that in the present times, the already much-suffering people of Ukraine are losing their citizens not only in battle. Secondly, the truck driver is unlikely to live peacefully in the future. Although, given the circumstances of the traffic accident, he is probably not at fault. Nevertheless, there is a third point. As the French composer Erik Satie said, ‘The more I get to know people, the more I admire dogs.’ Considering the behavior of this fluffy one, at least orcas have something to learn from him (although it is unlikely that they will ever succeed). The dog in distress not only did not run away but lay down next to its owner (according to eyewitnesses) and did not leave a step until a woman approached him (in the photo below). Moreover, before her arrival, the dog was next to the owner, placing its paw on him. Unfortunately, the causes of the accident are not definitively known, but according to our subscriber who sent the video from the scene of the accident, it happened in the morning when it was still dark on the street. Judging by everything, the pedestrian was crossing the road in an unauthorized place, which led to the tragedy. This is already a matter for investigators. We’ll add: when the woman (acquaintance or volunteer – unknown) approached the dog, it let her and the owner approach (and even wagged its tail), but when she tried to pull the dog away, it barked and resisted, refusing to leave the deceased owner. Take care of yourself. Take care of your loved ones. Take care of your pets. After all, the last ones without you can be much worse off than it might seem to your loved ones. Regarding Hachiko, the analogy is simple (for those who do not know): Hachiko the dog came to the station for nine (!) years until his death, waiting for his deceased owner who passed away from a heart attack.
