Chinese Vacuum Cleaner Manufacturer Announced Its First Electric Car
Chinese company Dreame Technology, which specializes in the production of vacuum cleaners, has presented visualizations of its first electric car. The car looks like a Bugatti Chiron, but with an extended wheelbase and four doors. It is planned that the prototype will be presented at the CES exhibition in Las Vegas in January.
Design and Possible Legal Consequences
The car’s exterior is likely created using artificial intelligence, which is noticeable in details such as the radiator grille. The design resembles the Bugatti Chiron, which could cause legal disputes due to the similarity. Although the front headlights are different, other elements, such as the shape of the grille and rear wings, are almost identical.
Interior and Technical Features
The car’s interior looks more original compared to the exterior. It is equipped with a large screen and an additional display on the console, which corresponds to modern trends in the automotive industry. Unlike the Bugatti Chiron, which had mechanical dials, this model is focused on digital technology.
Production Plans and European Expansion
The company plans to build electric cars at a plant in Berlin, Germany, near the Tesla production site. Dreame is also collaborating with the French bank BNP Paribas to implement its automotive projects. The model launch is planned for 2027.
Technical Specifications and Comparison with Competitors
Unlike the Bugatti Chiron, which used a W16 engine, and its successor, the Tourbillon, a hybrid V12, the Dreame model will be fully electric. The company claims that its car will surpass the speed of Bugatti and Koenigsegg models.
The question remains open: will Bugatti allow such use of their design, or will they take legal action? The manufacturer’s reaction is not yet known.
This project demonstrates how technology companies are increasingly entering the automotive industry, using their innovations to create competitive products. Dreame, with its experience in household appliances, may offer a new perspective on electric cars, but their design approach raises doubts about originality. The success of this initiative will depend not only on technical characteristics but also on legal aspects and market perception.
