Accident involving a powerful supercar
Stories about powerful supercars on quiet suburban roads rarely end well. A green Lamborghini Huracan sustained significant damage after an accident in Post Falls, Idaho, and, unsurprisingly, the car belongs to a famous content creator.
Circumstances of the incident
Although local authorities have not confirmed the official cause, it doesn’t take much imagination to understand what could have gone wrong. The accident occurred earlier this week at the intersection of 2nd and Greensferry Streets. Photos show the Huracan off the road among trees, where its paint sharply contrasts with the splintered branches around it.
Modifications and accident details
Compounding the situation is the fact that the car, which belonged to young influencer and YouTuber Jake Schnatter, was not stock. It had been fitted with a twin-turbo kit and a series of tuning upgrades designed to exceed factory performance limits.
Post-accident photos and a video published by Schnatter on Instagram suggest that he lost control while traveling on a straight section of road. Tire marks are visible on the asphalt, leading to the roadside where the Huracan appears to have broken through a wire fence and hit at least one large tree.

Consequences and the car’s future
The full extent of the damage is unknown, but we would be very surprised if the car is not declared a total loss. The passenger-side rear received a serious impact, leaving a large dent that likely not only damaged the body but could have caused structural damage. Additionally, part of the front bumper is torn off.
After the accident, Schnatter confirmed on his Instagram that neither he nor his passenger were injured.
While the Lamborghini’s body has obviously seen better days, the modified 5.2-liter V10 engine could be salvaged and potentially used for another project. Alternatively, this Huracan could be converted into a specialized track car.
