The 27-year-old millionaire from Miami Umastar (Umid Badrutdinov), married to a Ukrainian woman, acquired the iconic version of the Ferrari 488 Spider from the special edition series celebrating the brand’s 70th anniversary, which received the nickname Heartthrob in Paris.
The model was created as a tribute to the 1954 500 Mondial supercar, designed by Pininfarina in the open-top series. The rare car belonged to Dominican diplomat and racing driver Porfirio Rubirosa.
In Ukraine, such cars are a great rarity. Last year, there was only one offer on the secondary market at a price of 423,000 euros.

“A true race car, designed for high speeds, passionate hearts, and cool heads,” notes Umastar, whose personal fleet besides Ferrari, also includes a Rolls-Royce Ghost, Mercedes 4X4 G class, and Lamborghini Huracan. The latter, by the way, is considered the closest competitor to the Spider.
For reference: The Ferrari 488 Spider is a convertible modification of the 488 GTB sports car.
The coupe features a light rigid aluminum roof that folds in just 14 seconds and a frame made of durable aluminum alloy, titanium, and carbon in other elements.
The power unit is a gasoline 3.9-liter V8 TwinTurbo engine. At its peak, it delivers 670 hp and develops a torque of 760 Nm. Gear shifting is handled by a 7-speed robotic transmission with a dual clutch by Getrag.
The sports car accelerates:
- to the first 100 km in just 3 seconds;
- the second hundred in 8.7 seconds;
- maximum speed limited at 327 km/h
Force is transmitted to the wheels through the electronic E-Diff differential. The active Side Slip Control system monitors the probability of lateral skidding and controls the operation of the shock absorbers.
The sports car is equipped with Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, ABS with Ferrari Pre-Fill, a front spoiler, and a diffuser with active rear flaps. All systems are controlled from the steering wheel.
