Unique McLaren Collection Worth $70 Million Prepares for Unveiling

Unique McLaren Collection Put Up for Sale

For most people, even one supercar is a dream. But owning an entire collection of 20 McLaren cars is something incredible. The personal collection of the late Mansour Ojjeh, one of the most influential figures in the brand’s history, is now up for sale. It is expected to fetch over $70 million.

Mansour Ojjeh, who took over the TAG company after his father, became a key figure in the world of motorsport. He not only invested in McLaren but also helped the brand achieve incredible success, including seven Constructors’ Championships and ten Drivers’ Championships.

A Collection That Tells a Story

Every car in Ojjeh’s collection has the last chassis number for its model, making them special. The most valuable specimen is the McLaren F1 – the last car of this model produced, with only 1,800 km on the odometer. It is painted in the exclusive color Yquem, which was later renamed Mansour Orange.

Besides the F1, the collection features models such as the P1, Senna, Speedtail, Sabre, and even the rare Elva. Most of the cars were never used and are in perfect condition, as they were serviced under the direct instructions of McLaren.

“Mansour was one of the founders of McLaren in the form we know the brand today. He was a true enthusiast, and his collection is unique,” stated Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing.

The sale of the collection has been entrusted to the British dealer Tom Hartley Jnr Ltd. The Ojjeh family believes that these cars are not just a collection, but a part of Mansour’s legacy, reflecting his passion for McLaren. They hope the collection will go to someone who appreciates its true value.

This collection is not just a set of expensive cars, but a true museum of McLaren’s history. It includes models that have become legends of motorsport and the automotive industry. The value of the collection is determined not only by the rarity of the cars but also by their historical significance to the brand. Its sale is an opportunity for a collector to become a part of this history.
