In Chelyabinsk, a Volga GAZ-24 has been put up for sale at a very high price – 22,500 dollars. Of course, we understand that in the harsh Chelyabinsk, anything is possible, but for this money, you can buy a base version Toyota RAV4. However, this Volga is very special. 
Let’s start with the fact that the GAZ-24 was converted into a coupe. The roof was lowered, the rear pillars were thickened, and the doors were lengthened.
17-inch wheels with wide tires appeared. 
However, the tuning of the Volga did not stop there. On the contrary, everything was just beginning. The GAZ-24 coupe body was transplanted onto a Toyota Aristo chassis (known as the Lexus GS in Japan). From it, a 3-liter Toyota 2JZ-GE engine with 230 hp and automatic transmission were borrowed.
In addition, the Toyota Aristo became the donor for the steering wheel, central console, and rear seat. Recaro seats were installed in the front, while the dashboard was kept original from the Volga.
