In January 2022, arguably one of the most unusual cars of the 20th century will be put up for auction. We are talking about a car called Drag-u-la, which was created by George Barris in 1964. He is also known for his automotive creations from “Ghostbusters” and the Ford Explorer from “Jurassic Park.”
As for Drag-u-la, it is literally a “coffin on wheels” (it was bought in a funeral home, and illegally – in those years such purchase was prohibited without a death certificate), but with gilding and a very powerful V8 engine with 350 horsepower.
The unique hot rod was restored at the request of actor Al Lewis, who played Dracula. He wanted to ride it before he died, but due to health issues, he was unable to fulfill this dying wish.
