The uniqueness of this car lies not only in the small number of units produced (about 2 thousand) but also in the fact that the Azure II is considered one of the most fuel-thirsty convertibles in the history of the automotive industry. Excluding rare models from the early 20th century, the appetite of this luxury convertible is simply astonishing – nearly 30 liters of gasoline in the city!
However, the fuel consumption of this Bentley can only concern those who cannot afford it. After all, this model (first generation) was initially sold in Germany at a price from 518,300 DM (today such cars are priced around 150 thousand euros in the EU).
Under the hood is a V8 Twin-Turbo gasoline engine (6761 cm³). Power ─ 450 hp. Transmission ─ automatic (6-speed). Maximum speed ─ 274 km/h. Acceleration 0-100 km/h ─ 5.9 s.
