by In Florida, a very unusual 1952 Arno XI boat has been put up for sale. To begin with, it is adorned with Ferrari logos and painted in the signature Rosso Corsa red color. 
The point is that this speedboat truly has a Ferrari heart. It is powered by a 4.5-liter V12 from a Ferrari 375 racing car, whose power after modification increased from 385 to 600 hp. 
The Arno XI was built for the famous racer Achille Castoldi, who planned to break another water speed record.
Enzo Ferrari himself ordered that an engine be allocated to him from the warehouse in Maranello. The Ferrari boat was built at the Cantiere Timossi shipyard on Lake Como. Notably, its hull is clad in expensive red wood. 
In 1953, Castoldi set a speed record on it in the 800 kg class of boats – 242.1 km/h. This achievement still holds today.
After that, the Arno XI participated in races and is now stored in a private collection.
