Tesla Cybertruck Suspension Comfort Upgrade
Unplugged Performance, a company specializing in tuning Tesla vehicles, has introduced a new suspension system called Cybershocks. This development aims to improve the ride quality of the electric Cybertruck pickup, especially when towing or carrying cargo.
Standard Suspension Issues and Their Solutions
Although the Cybertruck is equipped with advanced air suspension and rear-wheel steering, Unplugged Performance experts believe there are certain shortcomings. In particular, when the spring stiffness changes, the rear of the vehicle can become insufficiently stable at high speeds or under load.
The secondary shock absorbers are designed to stabilize this behavior, allowing the rear suspension to recover faster from bumps and minimize oscillation.
Installation Process and Cost
Installing the new system is quite simple: just remove the wheel and plastic protection, secure the upper and lower mounts, and then install the shock absorber between them. The kit costs $2,995 and comes with a one-year warranty with unlimited mileage.

Additional Opportunities for Owners
Unplugged Performance encourages Cybertruck owners to use the vehicle for racing or off-roading, noting that this does not void the warranty. In addition to shock absorbers, the company offers a wide range of accessories, including steel side steps, a carbon fiber hood, roof racks, and upgraded wheels.
The most comprehensive version, equipped with all available accessories, costs $300,000, making it one of the most expensive tuning packages on the market.
This initiative by Unplugged Performance demonstrates how market players are responding to the needs of electric pickup owners by offering solutions to improve performance. The growing popularity of the Cybertruck is stimulating the development of new technologies that could find applications in other segments of the automotive industry.
