Imagine a Toyota pickup with the elegance of a Rolls-Royce — and you’ve almost seen this model

Japanese luxury in the form of a pickup

Digital artist Theottle has created unique renders, transforming the flagship luxury SUV Toyota Century into a full-size pickup. The concept is based on features of another brand’s vehicle – the Tundra. The result looks unusual: an elegant car that combines status with practicality.

“It looks as if it just dropped the kids off at a private academy before heading to a mountain retreat”

Technical features of the concept

The developer retained the characteristic radiator grille and two-tone paintwork but added a spacious cabin and a cargo compartment with a length of 5.5 feet. Although the real Century SUV is built on the TNGA-K platform, the concept pickup mimics the construction of body-on-frame SUVs.

The production Century is equipped with a hybrid powertrain producing 406 hp, ensuring smoothness and efficiency. The manufacturer offers clients extensive possibilities for individual customization, so theoretically, the creation of a unique pickup for special customers is not out of the question.

The idea of converting a premium SUV into a utility vehicle may seem unusual, but it demonstrates the flexibility of design thought. Toyota already has experience in creating exclusive versions, so such a project, although unlikely for mass production, could well become a reality for individual customers.
