The British company Amalgam, known for its very expensive, highly detailed scale models, has put up several samples of 1:8 to 1:12 scale models for open auction, which were not previously sold. Primarily, these are archival prototypes costing from 7 to 30 thousand euros each!

Among them is the Ferrari SF90 Stradale with a starting price of 7 thousand euros. This model was specially developed for the Maranello company and was used to demonstrate the capabilities of the branded personalization program. It is expected that in the end it will fetch from 13 to 15 thousand euros.
Two more models are the first factory examples of very limited series created for manufacturers. Sixteen units of the Bugatti 16C Galibier concept car model were sent to the company’s headquarters, and a batch of the Mercedes-Benz F800 concept’s scale copies consisted of only 11 cars, which became the property of the German brand. Amalgam put up for sale prototypes that served to approve their design by the customer, with the Bugatti expected to fetch up to 10 thousand euros.
Models of a number of sports prototypes will be sold at auction — for example, the Bugatti EB110 LM (13 thousand euros) and Audi R8 (11 thousand euros), which raced in Le Mans, as well as copies of the “virtual” McLaren Ultimate Vision concept for the Gran Turismo game. Only 40 units of these were released.

Finally, a batch of 200 cars assembled for the Louis Vuitton fashion house, the Talbot-Lago T150C SS Goutte d’Eau coupe, started from one prototype.

The latest novelty from Amalgam is a copy of the winning Mercedes-AMG formula car from the 2020 season. The company will release only seven units of the model, which turned out unusually large (1.25 meters in length), and sell them at a price of at least 35 thousand dollars.
By the way, do you know that some Hot Wheels models cost as much as real cars, and we’re talking about new Mercedes, etc.!
