by An unexpected find was discovered at the bottom of Lake Habermannsee on the outskirts of Berlin. For many years, a hunchback ZAZ-965 lay there. 
The Zaporozhets was accidentally discovered by divers cleaning the bottom of the lake. The car was at a depth of 25 m and was literally overgrown with mussels. Apparently, it was sunk back in the GDR and lay on the bottom for several decades.
Divers from the Berlin fire brigade were called to pull out the hunchback Zaporozhets. Extracting the car was not an immediate success, as the water temperature was only +3 degrees, and due to silt and dirt, visibility at the bottom of the lake was no more than 20 cm. 
However, in the end, the car was towed to the shore. It should be noted that the ZAZ-965 was sold in the GDR, but it is still unclear how it ended up at the bottom of the lake.
