A 1966 GAZ-21 Volga is for sale in Canada. Across the ocean, the Soviet sedan is a real rarity.
However, this car also has an interesting history – it was used by KGB employees. More precisely, they were formally diplomats at the Soviet Embassy in Brazil.
After that, the GAZ-21 somehow ended up in the USA, where it was restored and upgraded. The Volga tuning includes installing a V6 from a 1991 Toyota Tacoma and an automatic transmission; an air conditioner also appeared in the cabin. Interestingly, the speedometer is marked in miles.
By the way, a Volga for KGB is for sale in Kyiv as well, and this sedan is even more interesting, as it is equipped with a factory V8.
