by On July 7, 2019 at the Chaika racetrack, near Kyiv, the most anticipated event in the world of not only Ukrainian drifting – the United Drift Challenge, also known as UDC, will take place. The event is organized by the Ukrainian Drift Federation (UDF). 
This day will gather all those who are not indifferent to Ukrainian motorsport in general and fans of drift shows in particular. Drifting, also known as Drift, is a gathering point not only for professionals in this sport, and not only from Ukraine, but also for amateurs and beginners, for whom our show will become a real breakthrough, revelation, and the next step. Definitely the most anticipated event in motorsport will gather a huge number of spectators who will be able to discover what a true pilot can do behind the wheel of a pumped drift car and see a truly high-quality car show and professional drifting.
UNITED DRIFT CHALLENGE is:
- The whole race before your eyes, without leaving your seat. Drift is primarily liked by spectators because from the stands you can watch the entire race, which gives a constant flow of emotions and an understanding of the situation on the track, as everything is visible – from the start right up to the finish line. This creates an effect akin to what spectators in the coliseum felt, and the drift will amaze you again and again.
- The most anticipated event in Ukrainian motorsport. Drifting took very little time to become a respected extreme motorsport worldwide. A little history: one of the most significant and spectacular drift competitions – D1GP, started in the 90s in Japan; this event attracts over 20 thousand spectators.
Already in the 21st century, in 2003, the USA began its own championship known as FORMULA D. Following this, from 2004, drifting began to capture the hearts of car enthusiasts from Europe with events such as: EEDC, PRO Drift, D1GB, Drift Allstars, KOE. Now this direction of motorsport is gaining popularity in Ukraine, and moreover, we have become one of the most competitive countries, and our drift pilots take prize places in Europe and beyond!
- A unique opportunity for every spectator to be part of an impressive sporting spectacle. Powerful cars (from 400 to 1000 horsepower) that go through the track in a slide at a speed of 100 – 150 km/h too close to each other, just do not leave any chance to remain indifferent to any fan. The main part of our car show is pair races, which make the heart stop: in tandem drift, cars approach each other so quickly and briskly that the breath stops and the eyes tensely follow the fierce pair until the very end of the race.
- The best pilots of Ukraine and nearby abroad.
The drift championship on July 7 will gather the best drivers of Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and others. We are waiting for the best pilots from nearby abroad, such as Tomas Seminiski (Lithuania), Pawel Trela (Poland), Ivo Cirulis (Latvia), Sergei Sak, Dmitry Nagula and Andrei Piskarev (Belarus), Piotr Wiecek (Poland,) as well as many others. - Professional and unbiased judging. This year, the professionalism of the race participants will be evaluated by professional judges, and by the decision of the organizers, there will be three of them, from different countries, so there will be no doubt in the objectivity of the judging. Due to the fact that drifting is performed on a relatively small section of the track – while speed, entry angle, execution skill and style, and most importantly – tandem drifts are evaluated, in which synchronization, proximity of passing and distance to the track boundary, sharpness and etc.

- Speed in non-stop mode. Drifting combines all the most interesting aspects of traditional motorsports and presents them to the viewer in non-stop mode. What used to be called getting out of a dangerous situation has now turned into the ultimate meaning of the race, and this is DRIFT.
- Tons of adrenaline, unforgettable moments, and simply a wonderful mood. Breaks between races will be filled with spectacle from the show program. Demonstrative performances by professionals of drifting and stunt riding (extreme stunts on motorcycles), contests and fan sessions will not let anyone present get bored!
