The Solomiansky District Court of Kyiv granted the NABU’s petition and arrested the property of the former head of the Poltava Regional State Administration Valery Golovko. Among other things, a Mercedes-AMG G63 used by the ex-governor was seized. 
In essence, the elite car was equated to a bribe. According to Lb.ua, NABU established that a businessman from Poltava bought the G-Class for 120 thousand euros, and another 170 thousand euros were invested in tuning the Mercedes G-Class. The total price of the Gelandewagen reached 320 thousand euros.
NABU detectives claim that the Mercedes-AMG G63 was transferred to Valery Golovko in exchange for granting the businessman the right to construct roads with budgetary funds. It is also alleged that cash was transferred to officials of the Poltava Regional State Administration and their vacation in Spain was paid. To conceal the scheme, the G-Class was registered in the name of a distant relative of Golovko. However, NABU determined that it was used by the former head of the Poltava Regional State Administration.
