Rare BMW sports car like James Bond’s spotted in Kyiv

A rare 2003 BMW Z8 sports car was spotted in the center of Kyiv. Only 5,703 of these roadsters were produced, and the car also gained fame through the film “The World Is Not Enough” about James Bond.

The car’s number plate hints at agent 007. Even without it, the BMW sports car attracts attention with its elegant design. As is known, the developers of the Z8 were inspired by the BMW 507.

The engine and gearbox are borrowed from the BMW M5 E39, meaning the roadster is equipped with a 4.9-liter 400-horsepower V8 and a 6-speed manual transmission. Accelerating to 100 km/h takes 4.7 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 250 km/h. It should be noted that there are several BMW Z8s in Ukraine, with some even being tuned.
