Until recently, the Polestar division tuned Volvo cars, but now it has shifted to hybrids and electric cars. Polestar 1 is the first standalone model of the new brand. The stylish all-wheel-drive coupe is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged and supercharged petrol engine.
It is paired with three electric motors. 
The total output of the powertrain is 608 hp and 1000 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.2 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 250 km/h. Also, Polestar 1 can travel 150 km on electric power alone. Only 1500 Polestar 1 vehicles were produced.
The car costs 150,000 euros.
