A very unusual car is for sale in Yalta. This roadster vaguely resembles the postwar BMW 340 and 502, although it is built on the units of the BMW E36.
They ask as much as 45 thousand dollars for the homemade car. The plastic BMW convertible is made in the spirit of the 50s: it has smooth shapes and an abundance of chrome in the trim. The 17-inch spoked wheels catch the eye.
The interior, however, has practically moved unchanged from the BMW 3 E36, and the soft roof with a folding mechanism was borrowed from it as well. The trunk, on the other hand, looks more original – it is fully lined with wood.
The interior is also from the BMW 3 E36. The homemade convertible is equipped with a 2.5-liter 150-horsepower engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. Considering the cost of the car, it is not particularly impressive.
