by The Ministry of Economic Development has published a draft law concerning amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine regulating the admission of vehicles for use. This law aims to address the issue of vehicle admission for use, particularly those that have been used and imported into the customs territory of Ukraine for free circulation, as well as their first registration in Ukraine, by aligning national legislation with European practice.
The mentioned draft law provides for amendments to the laws of Ukraine “On Transport” and “On Road Traffic”, which relate to regulating the issues of conducting the necessary technical control of vehicles that have been used and imported into the customs territory of Ukraine for free circulation, as well as their first state registration in Ukraine, instead of undergoing the procedure of certification and determining compliance with the Euro environmental standard.
