The new generation Ukrainian LuAZ could be exactly like this. More precisely, it could be, since for now it is just a fantasy about the revived Ukrainian off-roader ‘for the people’. This is how designer Timur Dautov envisions the new generation LuAZ concept.
The discussion is about the LuAZ 969M prototype, which, during its serial production era, despite its compact size and Zaporozhets engine, amazed even foreigners with its off-road capability. We note that even now abroad, the Ukrainian SUV LuAZ is offered as a kit.
Regarding the sketches, as seen, the designer envisions the new budget off-roader as still angular and ascetic, but with an electric motor, LED optics, and a digital dashboard integrated into the steering wheel.
