According to the owner, this is the most powerful and, most likely, the fastest Zhiguli on Planet Earth. Under the hood of this VAZ is a 600 hp modified engine from a Toyota Supra, and as already mentioned, acceleration to a hundred takes about 2.5 seconds. But that’s not certain, because measuring it is extremely difficult — at the start, the wheels can hardly “grip” the road surface.
The owner of the mad Zhiguli is Steve, a native of Hungary, who moved to Miami, USA. Essentially, he built a supercar with the appearance of a Lada “from scratch”, although the donor was not just a VAZ but a rally Zhiguli made for the Hungarian rally championship. The gearbox is from a Nissan 350Z, the rear axle is from a Ford Mustang.

It should be noted that if we talk specifically about Lada models, then the VAZ “seven” from the USA is far from the fastest Lada (among VAZ 2107 – yes, Lada – no) because the fastest Lada on Earth is the Niva made in Ukraine with 2500 hp! And also in Ukraine, there is the fastest Zaporozhets on the planet.
