In Ukraine, the production of retro cars of the early 20th century has been established (photo)

While ZAZ is debugging the production of car kits from Russia (Renault, KIA, and Lada), private enthusiasts are engaged in the production of the rarest retro cars, and even electric ones! How do you like that, Elon, the one from Musk?

In particular, it is about Vitaliy Bondar from Mariupol, who is engaged in the custom (practically hand-assembled) production of cars from 1909-1920. It is in Ukraine that he produces replicas of 100-year-old cars of the British brand Morgan (and not only). The cars assembled here look very authentic externally, but are equipped with electric motors (depending on the customer’s preferences). That is, externally – antique, internally – almost Tesla. The cost is 160,000-500,000 UAH.

As often happens, the craft is aimed not so much at the domestic market, but abroad. This is evidenced by the ads on European websites and the English language on the entrepreneur’s “parent” website.

Morgan models from 1909, 1910, 1912, and 1917 are available for order. The price is from 7500 euros to… as far as imagination allows. In addition, the Ukrainian is ready to sell blueprints for building a car with your own hands (in this case, about a thousand dollars +-).

In addition to the vintage Morgans, drawings of sports buggies are available for 30-80 dollars and other copies of iconic cars of different eras! The question is – perhaps it’s time to appoint a new head of the Zaporozhye car plant..?
