The car was found by blogger Roma Urraco, for whom such time capsules are commonplace. This particular ZAZ-968M with manual control for drivers with disabilities was even distributed for free in the ’90s.
However, the owner did not use the car but put it in a garage. There the Zaporozhets remained stationary for almost 30 years, and it was only occasionally started.
The car is still covered with factory preservative, and in some places, the original lead seals have been preserved. Recently, the ZAZ-968M has been standing still in a warehouse, but now it needs to be moved, and it is being sold.
