A turbocharged coupe Moskvich was built in Ukraine

Visitors to the Old Car Land auto festival and the All-Ukrainian retro technology fair in Lviv could see a very unusual Moskvich-2140. The car has been turned into a rather brisk coupe and is used for daily driving. A turbocharged coupe Moskvich was built in Ukraine

The Moskvich Turbo Coupe was built in the Lviv workshop Lev Garage. It looks quite harmonious. Its interior has been shortened, while the doors have been lengthened.

The roof is slightly lowered, and the rear wheel arches are widened.

Under the hood lies a 1.5-liter 16-valve engine from a VAZ-2110, supplemented by a Toyota turbo and a BMW intercooler. The result is 150 hp and 200 Nm of torque. With a 4-speed manual transmission from VAZ, the Moskvich coupe easily reaches 160 km/h.

In the future, developers plan to install the turbo at 1.5-2 bar to achieve 350-400 hp from the engine.

The Moskvich Turbo Coupe also received a rear axle from a Mercedes W124 and 18-inch tires.
