by In Ukraine, the first small-batch ZAZ electric cars have appeared. However, this is not the production of the Zaporizhzhia Automobile Plant – they are manufactured by the company Kozak EV.
More precisely, it is not about full-scale production – old ZAZ Tavria and Slavuta are converted into electric cars. They receive an electric motor, a battery, a charger, and an electric heater (which is integrated into the standard heater). A digital dashboard is offered as an option.
ZAZ electric cars are offered in three versions:
- Battery of 12 kWh, range – 100-130 km, price – $3700
- Battery of 16 kWh, range – 140-160 km, price – $4400
- Battery of 24 kWh, range – up to 230 km, price – $5500
The indicated price covers the conversion into an electric car, but the donor car must be purchased separately. In any case, the total cost of the Tavria-Electric will be around 5-7 thousand dollars. More details about the car – in the video review from the creators.
