Until recently, the GT R was the flagship version, but now there is a cooler variant Black Series. The coupe is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo with 585 horsepower and can reach 318 km/h and accelerate to a hundred in 3.6 seconds. 
The Mercedes-AMG GT R received adaptive dampers and a fully steerable chassis. Ceramic brakes are offered as an option. The GT R version is recognized by its body kit and rear wing.
Bucket seats are installed in the cabin.
