by The presentation of the new Jeep Wrangler 2018 took place in Ukraine. The fourth generation of the iconic SUV was shown in both the short-wheelbase two-door version and the four-door Unlimited version.
The new Jeep Wrangler was introduced in its natural habitat – among rocks and off-road. The SUV retains the familiar design with such characteristic features as round headlights, pronounced fenders, or the iconic Jeep grille.
The Jeep Wrangler 2018 has grown slightly in size – up to 4334 mm in length for the three-door version and 4882 mm for the five-door. Of course, the SUV retained its frame construction, but it is 90 kg lighter than its predecessor.
Inside, the quality of upholstery materials has been significantly improved and the interior space increased. Moreover, the center panel now features a UConnect multimedia system touchscreen with a diagonal up to 8.4 inches.
For now, the new Jeep Wrangler in Ukraine is offered exclusively with a 2.0-liter 272-horsepower turbocharged gasoline engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Naturally, a full-drive system with a low-range transmission is mandatory.
The starting Jeep Wrangler Sport costs 1,403,000 hryvnias in the two-door version and 1,581,000 hryvnias in the five-door. It is equipped with keyless access, air conditioning, an audio system, cruise control, heated steering wheel and front seats, and park assist.
The top-end Rubicon version costs 1,589,000 hryvnias in the short version and 1,767,000 hryvnias in the long one. It features front and rear differential locks, dual-zone climate control, a rear-view camera, and remote engine start.
