by In Kyiv, a rare 1937 Fiat 1100B is put up for sale. The old Italian sedan is priced quite modestly – 4999 dollars.
The thing is that the Fiat 1100 is now fitted with a 1.5-liter engine from the Moskvich-407, and it’s been converted to manual control for the disabled. Moreover, the car’s condition is far from perfect. Nevertheless, the car’s history is intriguing.
This Fiat 1100B is the only one in Ukraine. It is a war trophy captured from the Germans during the Battle of Korsun-Cherkasy.
For some time, it even served as a museum exhibit.
