by In Zhydachiv (Lviv region), a very unusual Volkswagen Passat wagon has been put up for sale. The car has been turned into a real amphibian. 
The Dolphin-2 amphibian was created in 2015 by inventor Iosif Grinishyn. The body is from a Volkswagen Passat B3, but the engine was taken from a Volga GAZ-21, and the radiator from a UAZ. 
The Volkswagen Passat B3 body is sealed, and a propeller has been added for water navigation.
A transfer case with a low gear has also been installed. 
The floating Volkswagen can reach 120 km/h on land and 20 km/h on water. The unique car is priced at $6,800. You can see the car in action in this video.
