Ukrainians are more frequently bringing not only Nissan Rogue and Ford Fusion, but also much rarer and more expensive cars from the USA. This is evidenced by the photos from seaports and the already legalized examples on the roads.
TopGir reported that even very wealthy compatriots are not averse to damaged supercars from America. Ferrari, McLaren, top Mercedes… if you play well at an auction and find a reputable company, you can indeed find very worthy examples with minimal damage and at excellent prices.
It’s worth mentioning the rarities like Nissan Skyline GT-R34, spotted in the Odessa port.
But all this is just the tip of the iceberg because those who can afford it are bringing exceedingly rare models for our region from the States. And two such specimens were recently spotted in Ukraine.
BMW 6 Series E24
The luxury coupe, judging by the photo, is not in perfect condition and appears to have some rust. But the overall condition is very decent. Such cars exist in Ukraine, but they are either in collections or completely ruined and over-restored.
BMW E9
Now this is a real exclusive (for Ukraine). We are hesitant to guess, but it could be either a 2800 CS or a 3.0 CS. Either way, E9s are like gold in Ukraine.
Moreover, cars imported into Ukraine are not just smashed ones, regardless of price and class, but also very “specific” examples. For instance, this 2014 Ford Taurus – a genuine police car (used by NYPD cops).
Speaking of the most expensive ‘wrecks’ from America in Ukraine, the top models likely include:
- McLaren 720S
- McLaren 600LT
- Lamborghini Urus
- Dodge Viper
- Chevrolet Corvette
- Bentley Bentayga
- Lamborghini Aventador
- Lamborghini Huracan
- Rolls-Royce Cullinan
Incidentally, last week a Bugatti Chiron was put up for auction in the USA. It’s a bit toasted. It’s also the car of American rapper El Alfa. The estimated (and remaining) value was $345,000, almost 10 times cheaper than a new Chiron.
Regarding the most popular cars from America in Ukraine, according to Columb Trade, the bestsellers of October 2021 were (not a rating, but a list in no particular order):
- VW Passat
- VW Tiguan
- Nissan Rogue
- Hyundai Sonata
- Mazda CX-5
- Ford Fusion
- Mitsubishi Outlander
- Chrysler 200
- Toyota RAV4
- VW Jetta
- Honda Accord
- Acura ILX
- Toyota Camry
In theory, you could speculate on your own, but it’s easier to ask specialized and trusted companies how much it costs to clear customs for rare and/or popular cars from the USA.
P.S. We strongly recommend reading about the most unexpected finds in cars from the USA in Ukraine.
